I think their designs are also a bit watered down. You can get the same basic design in a SARB, SARX, King Seiko, Presage and even with Citizen with varying degrees of finishing and dials. That's just my opinion. This is especially true of the basic quartz or auto dress Grand Seiko watches like the...

Re: Need help on a wife watch…
I wish I had better advice, but there has got to be a better way to drop $10k on your watch than roll the dice with a custom ebay special. You can buy a used two tone ladies Datejust for half that from a reputable seller and take it to a jeweler to have it customized yourself. https://www.crownandca...

CW is giving us chronometer grade 10mm thick watches for $1400, meanwhile for the same price Seiko gives you a 15mm thick watch that is +25 spd.

I have the Garmin mini 2. Seems well made and I like that it is compact and doesn't have a screen. Directions kind of suck and I have not had to use it yet. Get the OBD-II power cable as it allows it to maintain power even when your car is off. Can set it to keep power for 10m or 24h or always. Will...

The new Navitimers are pretty hot, but yeah you could buy 3 Sinn Navitimers for the price... of course the Sinn's are a lot thicker though.

Definitely a Breitling "homage". Can never get past their logo/name on the dial.... always looks like cheap embossed plastic.

Love these stories. I also have my grandfather's pocket watch, which he received from his uncle..... similar vintage to yours I think.

Have you guys seen what this movement looks like? No idea why you would compromise the WR of these divers to see an ugly movement.

I'm not sold on the jubilee look on such a beefy tool like watch... but love that US is making Ti bracelets now. They should make a version of this for the Shogun.... it always was let down by it's faux 3 link bracelet.

I mainly use the Costco pre-cooked that only requires about 30-60 secs in the microwave. i saw an article about "sous viding" bacon, which i'm guessing is fairly similar to getting costco pre-cooked. i've been tempted to try it. for oven, i use the built in "bacon 101" program in my anova steam ove...

Also digging the YM. I of course balked at the price, but then realized they are trying to give you the experience of being a yacht owner. The amount I poured into the ocean as a previous boat owner was definitely Rolex equivalent You know what they say about the two best days of being a boat owner.

It comes in regular colors. Not my cup of tea but with a cool Ti case and bracelet along with an in house 5 day movement I don’t mind the price.

Re: New Rolex
Curious if Titanium will trickle into the rest of their lineup. Guessing not since they double down on their blingy 904, but a Ti Seadweller would be intriguing.
