Re: Any other classic or iconic orange faced watches?
This borrowed photo from the Doxa 300T website (http://www.doxa300t.com/review.htm) illustrates my point. The guy who literally wrote the book on Doxa seems to see a valid comparison between this Seiko OM and the Doxa sub. I guess I was just thinking there was surely a higher end comparable, but may...

Re: my experience w Doxa CS
OP, glad to hear your story ended well. Like most, I really like Doxa watches. So much so that I have 10 of them, for now. However, I have never had a good CS experience unless I was buying a new watch. I still have two issues outstanding. One from over a year ago. A person can only beat his head a...

Re: my experience w Doxa CS
Yeeeaaaahhh.... They make it so hard to be a fan, sometimes. As I've said before....two guys and a case of beer. I still have a soft spot for the 1000 series. I have been trying to get a replacement screw bar for an 800 Pro since October '12..... Vintage, baby; http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6087/61...

Re: my experience w Doxa CS
One added bit of info makes me skeptical that Doxa is doing all that well. The 1200T Pro I was sent had a low series number, in the 300s. For a watch with a limited run of 1200 and that's been out since, I believe, 2010, I was surprised they hadn't moved more of them. Could just be the model is less...

Re: my experience w Doxa CS
I think Doxa is only interested in money and they only care about their history from a monetary standpoint personally. It aint illegal and a lot of businesses do it so I don't hold it against them. Rolex does the same thing to a certain extent but Rolex is a large corporation that was built from th...

my experience w Doxa CS
I'm new to the whole watch collecting thing with a particular fondness for dive watches and fliegers. I've lurked on this and many other fora for months now. I created an account just to give my experience with Doxa to the community. This isn't a long and involved story of woe. It ended well. And I ...
