Re: Anyone try the new Arnie?
Are these bigger than the Solar Tuna? Yes they are. Solar tunas look just about perfect on me while these definitely have more presence, but I like being slightly overwhelmed by the watches I wear. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191017/dfdc67ed8959d1c99e7de0e5e866f521.jpg https://uploads.tapata...

Re: Seiko 5 Jo Jo's, wtf???
They seem to reference an anime (Japanese cartoon) called JoJo's Bizarre Adventure which is indeed bizarre and features a lot of characters with garish, almost experimental clothing.

Re: Seiko cracking down on JDM watches being sold in the US
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190808/153f136fad3922fefb8ad2f785a819d2.jpg I realize we have at least one DWCer who has one and likes it, but that watch doesn't appeal to me at all. The case shape manages to be blobby, too wide, and thick looking on the wrist. If a micro came out with that case...

Re: Seiko cracking down on JDM watches being sold in the US
Not to derail this thread but anyone catch the WUS "street price" thread on the SLA033? Seems the perceived value isn't $4.5K. Shocker! https://forums.watchuseek.com/f21/new-sla033-street-price-4999891-15.html#post49524395 https://forums.watchuseek.com/f21/new-sla033-street-price-4999891...

Wow, that's an old building they rented. Is that from the WW2 era?

Re: Sunday Dive: 24-03-2013 - Kwinana - Orient Ray
Great dive journal as always. And with a Ray to boot. I've just got one myself, what a fantastic watch for the price, and it's a good thing to see these watches being used for what they were designed for. I'm glad they updated the Mako (into the Ray) by taking away the numerical markers. Sent from m...

Obligatory Seiko pic. The watch is an SNDA59 Velatura, powered by the 7T92 quartz chronograph movement.

Re: Almost Ready to Order but Last Minute Check
Here's a worthy rival to Seiko Sumo, which came out in black, blue and yellow variants. These are now discontinued so existing samples are priced around the Sumo level. Pic stolen from WUS.

Re: Does anyone know this Zenrag A Hole from WUS?
His original reply to "Ecozilla Chief" JDC222 is disrespectful. Whatever happened after that was relative IMO. He also replied to one of my posts yesterday with a condescending attitude. Of course the post in question was a troll post so I decided not to drag it further. Sent from my GT-I9100 using ...

Re: Clean Up Australia Day 2013: Diving with the OS300
Thanks for the tip on the BC317, Carl. Will look into it. I do prefer the non-vent rubber straps because then the strap "tail" doesn't stick out for small wristed guys like me.

Re: Clean Up Australia Day 2013: Diving with the OS300
Cheers! Not sure about any others but I posted some dive pics of the MM300 on DWC just before Christmas http://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=23503 Haven't seen your posts for awhile on WUS so I assumed you were inactive there. Btw, that rubber strap seems different than t...

Re: Clean Up Australia Day 2013: Diving with the OS300
A dive in Australian waters and with my favorite dive watch to boot. You're da man bedlam!
I wonder if MM300 owners have ever taken their watches diving like this. Especially if they are most active on WUS.
