Re: Liger strap for my Speedy Pro

What I like about Liger is that they are incredibly helpful and you can chat with them via Whatsapp. I want their Racing brown strap for my BB58 but in blue. They offered to make it for me from either their Diablo navy blue strap or their Saffiano navy blue strap and any colour stitching I want. I'...

Looks great and freebies never hurt!
I wasn't implying that anyone who orders gets freebies. I don't know why they sent them to me, only that they knew what they were doing. The only thing I can figure is that they mistakenly made a strap for me with padding and just sent both.

Liger strap for my Speedy Pro

After consulting with Andy (snootydog), who had gotten a Liger canvas strap earlier this year for his Speedmaster, I ordered one like his for mine, except I went with the unpadded option. Didn't include a buckle on the order since I already have an Omega deployment clasp. The order arrived with some...

I'm trying to stay out of the revolving door and stick to the four watches I have now, but that one's awfully tempting.

Re: New Aquastsar Airstar

Don't care for the proportions. Way too thick for a 39mm watch and too long.

Case Diameter 39mm
Bezel Diameter 39mm
Length from lug to lug 49mm
Case height 14.8mm

Never owned an NTH, but people who have seemed to speak highly of them, and that says a lot. Wonder if the rise in popularity of AliExpress brands was what torpedoed his business? San Martin seems to play in the same space as NTH, and competing on price with Chinese brands head-to-head would seem t...

I'm still kicking myself in the nuts for not buying one of the OGs when they were readily available.
I feel the same way. Remember when I could've bought a SAR-D for a song.

Re: FYI, Zealande summer discount

Just got the Zealande strap. My initial impressions are favorable: soft, lightweight, and easier to put on the watch than an Omega strap with fitted ends that I once owned. I ordered the long length option and it's long enough for my wrist with room to spare. I'll probably order the SMP model in blu...

FYI, Zealande summer discount

I've been wishing I had a rubber strap for my Planet Ocean 2201.50 "D", but the Omega strap is hard to find and very expensive, so I looked at Zealande. They're currently running a 15% summer discount on all their products, so I just ordered a black strap. If I like it, I may order a blue one for my...

Re: Best NATO straps?

I like the ones from Haveston, especially the single pass straps. It's a slightly better deal if you order directly from Haveston in England and you can see the full selection, but in the U.S., Holben's carries them.

According to the Orbita Data Base, Seiko SKX should be wound both directions, 500-900 turns per day.

I'm guessing it's 600 Invictas. A valuation of 1.4 million would price them at $2333.00 each.

I haven't gone so far back to basics that I only have one watch, but I've been out of the revolving door for awhile now, leaving me with the following: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49075207733_a4fd95826a_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/1971/43288089270_839c3b7207_c.jpg https://live.static...
