Protect your hands and lungs if you decide to use the fiberglass scratch pen.

I haven't used one on titanium, but they work well on brushed stainless steel.

Nice! My understanding is this is still the official timekeeper for Japan's rail system and as a railroad employee I've always found these interesting. I've never actually bought one because the Japanese tradition is to have a dedicated holder for it on the locomotive which we do not have and and I...

There's two of them, and this is the larger 44mm case (not the 42mm "Willard"). SLA049 has the blue bezel and is limited to 1,200 pieces ($3,100); SLA051 is not limited ($2,900)
I see. The SBDX047 is basically a non-limited-edition SBDX031 with a different dial. :salute:

It's just after 4, instead of just before 4. The original (6105-8110) had the crown right at 4. What the hell drives thes...

Re: MR340 kayak ultra ?

Wow, that sounds like fun. I always wanted to paddle the tidal part of the Hudson (from Troy to NYC), but haven't gotten around to it, and probably never will. As for which watch to wear, I'd go with an SKX007 or Turdle on a NATO strap. Bring a few spare straps. I don't like wearing bracelet watches...

It’s going to be great when this all turns out to be some sort of twisted publicity stunt.
That was the consensus among the participants of the YouTube video I posted. Unfortunately, I don't trust any of these guys as far as I can throw them.

For what it's worth, Roman Sharf and some other people associated with the gray market watch industry did a YouTube live to discuss this situation. During the live session, Anthony Farrer and Marco Nicolini allegedly made contact with Roman. The video has since been made private.

I wonder why they chose the ETA 2681. It's tiny...typically used in women's watches.

I use a desktop PC at work. It's a quad CPU Xenon based system. If I wasn't running large scale simulations locally, I'd probably use a mac mini and just do all system intensive stuff remotely on the university's grid.
Matlab/Simulink? I had a ball working with that stuff when I was in school.

I'm thinking about putting an electric motor on my longboard and rigging up a bluetooth throttle control so I can skate to the beach in full "lazy mode". Not sure how legal it'll be....
Yeah, I definitely see the appeal of electric boards. Carving is fun, but pushing gets old.

Had my first fall yesterday. There's a lot of construction going on around where I live, and I skated over some crushed stone scattered on the pavement. Long Boards

My wife discovered that her company reimburses for purchases of fitness equipment, so we bought a long board (Sector 9 Maverick Crag 44"). Tons of fun! I didn't skate in my youth, but I've always been good on ice skates and skis. Tons of fun, and so far, no injuries.
