Re: Omega’s Seamaster Chronoscope

I really do not like this one.

Someone said this was designed by someone formerly from Breitling? If that’s true, it definitely shows. That’s a recycled aesthetic if I’ve ever seen one.

I immediately though “Montbrillant” when I saw this one.

Love 'em. I want to try one of these one day. I really like the skeletonized versions, especially the tourbillon

"All the douchebags with 46mm dive watches and their shitty 5 link bracelets...I still wear my 36mm datejust." (Something like that) It's funny how much times have changed. What would it be now? "All the douchebags with their 34mm Hodinkee specials?" I'm just waiting for my BASM to come back into v...

New Coffee Set-up

Resurrecting this - after a little nudging by our resident enabler on multiple fronts (jtbenson), I’m an “espresso guy”. I’m a couple months into using it (and a few months into the research) and I’m loving it. This machine isn’t “old school” traditional, but it’s super programmable, and I’m loving ...

Re: A Pam full of worms, interesting read...

FWIW, Watchbase describes the P.9200 as "Base movement ETA 2892-2 with module for the chronograph". Not clear if it always said that or if it was updated based on more recent information coming to light. https://watchbase.com/panerai/caliber/p-9200 Was reading the Perez post last night, and it’s li...

Re: There can be only one

Based on the price those are both selling for, I’d personally flip both and pick up a standard BPFF, but I like the 45mm size (I think it wears small for a 45).

Hate to say it, but the Pokeball version appeals to me more. Both are pretty great, and IIRC, both are fetching a pretty penny?

Well a tremendous surprise from my son today for a retirement watch. It’s a 1995 SD [emoji3590]. Thanks to a great forum member and working with my son…it’s on my wrist today. Love the patina and the blue/black bezel insert. Always loved these tritium dial watches. The SD 16600 is dream watch for m...

No written interaction in Fortnite, and you can mute teammates audio (last I played, which was years ago).

Re: What you got for <$1000?

IMO there is a lot of value in Longines at that price point. Especially if used is an option. For sure. Doubt i could find a legend diver for that price. It would have to be decent size as he has 8.5” wrists. Long lugs would work in that case. HydroConquest 43mm might be a good option. :1:
