Great watch and review. This reiussue has so much of the look and feel of the original (sans tuning fork movement, of course). And it scales up nicely from the original 34mm (much like Glycine did with the Airman). Here's the grandaddy, my 1968. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j284/mrsnak/Watches-...

Yep I've been there a couple times. Great Breit and Tag selection. Pretty friendly people there too, they hosted WUS's breit forum members when the shop opened and the party sounded like a big hit, with busted out scotch and lots of fondling. :excited: And I didn't get that PM fyi  I PM'd yo...

The most inexpensive watches I own are all vintages. Got all of them for far less than a new G Shock. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j284/mrsnak/Watches-main/Gruen/gruen-60s.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j284/mrsnak/Watches-main/Gruen/gruen-N510R-2.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j2...

Re: True "Classic" watches
The Cartier dial is prettyy classic and recognizable. Not sure if the "classic" model is the Santos or Tank or what though... The Santos is a newer variation of the classic Tank Francaise, the first prototype given to and worn by General Pershing during WWI. It was influenced by Allied tank command...
