Chiming in as I'm local. Absolutely insane, and terrible for the guys working that got lost (a good friend teaches one of their kids). All kinds of wild speculation out there, but I know it is going to have a significant impact on the mid-atlantic region for some time.

Finally got to check out a U50P in person yesterday. Holy hell what an awesome watch! That is all.

The Padi NAFT, which IMHO wears the best out of all of them.

Yeah definitely won't be snagging this one, just too on the nose. I like the brand mainly because they're local and the owner/operator is a good dude.

Tsao is "my" local area microbrand, and they make some decent stuff. I think they might have lost me with this one, and I love natty boh

Skratchy old seiko on a toxic, as per usual. Thinking about challenging myself to a 1 month = 1 watch type thing, and this will probably get the nod.

The plastic moonswatches are already pretty silly, so adding snoopy is pretty appropriate.

Full disclosure: the real Snoopy Speedy is one of my never gonna happen grails. I doubt a plastic version would satisfy.
