I have the dvd boxset and in the commentary they tell that Vic bought the whole cast a Rolex. I think in some Scenes you can see other members wearing one.

I bought one of the first pilot commanders and really liked it. Then I ordered the wing commanders x for over $400. When I got it the bezel was scratched and looked like it could scratch very easy. So I sent it back and they sent another one and my brother pointed out that the bezel was bent down on...

I once heard some where, maybe on this forum. That when the Wyler salesmen would walk in a store, he throw a watch across the room to so how good their incabloc system was.

I also found out the the Austin watch company is some how associated with Rado and also has a bayonet case back. I almost damaged the case on my Austin Premier Super Automatic. So watch out for those case backs that just turn a quarter turn and stop.

I know some Rados' have a bayonet mount, like a camera lens mount.
