Re: Longines Big Eye vs. Farer Big Eye
Nope. The Longines big eye is one of the finest looking watches currently on sale IMO.

Re: Tudor Military Subs - Sounds like lots of fakes out there
Not Tudor related but I’d say to anyone don’t believe what the seller is telling you, do your own research, ask other experts. I’ve first hand witnessed some watch selling BS this week, I sold a watch last week & it appeared back on eBay with a story of how the seller bought it from his mate who bou...

Re: Rare Gold Vintage Divers
I guess the new solid gold Squale should be in this thread too.
I never knew about the pieces above so it’s pretty cool to see and I guess goes some way to justifying Squale’s thought to produce one (despite the nay sayers)

Surely you ca just stick something in where the release pin fell out from and pull back to release?

Re: Christopher Ward C65 Vintage Diver
Who makes these design decisions? [emoji848] Logo at 9, font type, fauxtina but bone white logo...[emoji20] I’m gonna guess... Christopher Ward. Have to echo everyone else’s sentiments, beautiful Watch totally ruined with the name. I remember all the fuss about the old logo and there were rumbles o...

I’d be concerned about the case finish, looking at the top of the lugs they look more mirror polish than the brushed.
The hand lume looks pretty good colour-wise to me (compared to the dial)

Re: Rory Mcilroy, Speedy guy?
He must be a Watch guy with that bracelet setup, nobody would do it for the look :snooty: Would be great if some of the celebs would come and post on the forums under their name. I’ve often thought about starting a celeb thread and pointing obvious Watch lover celebs to it via twitter and IG and see...

Re: what SIHH means to me practically
I was just watching a vid of the new garish AP Royal Oak Divers... honestly the fakers will be rubbing their hands together as the blue one already looked like a really bad fake. If I’d not know who was doing the vid and where they were I’d honestly have thought they were knock-off’s!

Re: spike lee convinces rolex to act like omega
At least you can read the time (unlike most daytonnas)
Ditch the orange sub seconds hands for silver, tone the centre seconds down a bit and it'd be ok.

Re: Seiko 62MAS Restoration
The hour markers would clean up if you rubbed the flaking lacquer off with some pegwood. Also, I'd remove the Seiko logo and clean the dial there too as it stands out a bit. They usually come off pretty easily and are easy enough to refit.

Re: Urban Gentry LE Squale??? Crazy
I guess the dial came out a bit too blue to match with a red bezel.
I actually like the dial colour but it needs a dark grey bezel, that and the removal of the TGV logo!

Re: The OMFG Story of the Day
Looking forward to the pics. Strangely you'd think we'd all have seen them by now, I mean how did the delivery man manage to find a 'Rolex hunter'? Surely he'd have to post pics on eBay, social media etc to advertise. Things like this usually get a thread of their own on TRF.

Re: New arrival. SBDC051
Looks good. Does anyone know if the 051 will come on rubber at any point? Seems the blue is rubber and black steel band? I actually love the blue's bezel colouring but not it's dial colour. The black bezel almost has a coloured look to it in certain lights and would be the one I'd go for (after init...

Re: Wow. Just wow.
The sponge scratch one reminds me of a lad I worked with many years ago... He was asking myself and another work mate how he could get scratches out of his car's paintwork. Upon questioning why, he told us "some dust from a building site got on the car so I washed it off which left scratches" All 3 ...

Re: This dude's collection is bonkers
When it started with the new GMT I almost switched off, God know's why he took that with him! Don't get me wrong, nice enough watch in it's own right (although I like the older ones) but the rest of the stuff was interesting and in a different league. Has anyone seen the surgeon chap's video collect...

Hello all... http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/ae204/jamesrwx/C9A223E3-5CC9-4626-8DA4-196091623914_zpssacrb2jv.jpg Yes, yes I know it makes no sense having a 24hr bezel but I love the colours. Wish someone would come out with a 12hr bezel so at least it could make some sense without a gmt hand. How...
