Such an awesome story, I love it.
I googled what you originally ordered and can totally relate to the happy accident, she’s purdy.

Watch collecting is weird

I just find it interesting and odd. I can look at 100 watches and probably only like 2, finding little flaws and imperfections in most. Not only do I not like the vast majority of watches I see, I actually find them repulsive. BUT when I see something I like it’s pure magic, a completely beautiful p...

Re: New toy came yesterday

Great watch, congratulations. I have two of them, as I wanted to try the Gen 2, five link bracelet. Though I find it is great on any strap or nato. Nice! I’m really liking it so far, I ended up putting my bracelet back on today while I choose a rubber replacement. I really love my leather c...

Re: New toy came yesterday

We’ve spent some time together, got a little sloshed, bonded.
Looks like we will get along just fine, she is a bit small but feisty, still lacking experience, but we will get past that…together.

New toy came yesterday

I really wanted an affordable GMT and did a lot of searching around, I came very close to settling on a Seiko 5 but in the end this Lorier Hyperion II was screaming my name. I like the retro style without being a direct rip off of one single watch, I view it more of a blend between a Seamaster and a...

Welcome back

Baltic?
A very strong contender BUT way too shiny, even the bezel is high gloss, I want something I can beat up. A very beautiful watch though, I do however wish the hour hand looked more different than the minute.

Just a hello

Hello all I used to frequent this forum awhile ago, atleast 7 years I'd say. Around 2014 my obsessive mind switched from watches to cruise ships (take a guess how that's going these days :crybaby: ) although I still love the watches I own I stopped drooling and buying. Getting back into it slightly,...

Re: Tudor knows how to throw a party...

Holly poop that looks like a good party, I wish I could of gone. I came to NY to go to the IBG Watchtime dinner on Tuesday, dont think it will be THAT fun, some nicer brands showing off new watches though. I made a point to go to Wempe and see a few Tudors, looking good thse days. Cool pics :thumbsu...

Re: Sad News. Neil Armstrong has died

Its too bad we had to see him go, although theres no doubt he led a very full life. I liked how he was so cool and calm and always avoided the spotlight. Iv been addicted to the show 'Mayday' which profiles commercial air disasters and close calls. One of the main reasons why I like it is watching h...

If you can afford one I'd go for the IWC 3717. Best looking day date chronograph by far, the thing is outright sexy.
Also the Ball skylab looks nice too.
