J,Bianchi 300 "Armee de Terre"
Hello everybody. I'd like to share this recent entry, a french J.Bianchi 300 "ARMEE DE TERRE" military divers watch. These watches were built/assembled (about 1.000) by Jacques Bianchi in Marseille during 1993-94, issued to recon/assault divers of the french Army and probably dismissed by the Army a...

That type of bezel, used togheter with the minute hand, shows no decompression times.Father Time wrote: Forget the, "numbers/no numbers" BS... please tell me, what is up with that bezel??

Re: Eberhard Scafograf 1000mt
Damn Federico, that is one killer Eberhard. With full kit no less! I've always liked vintage Scafographs - how can you not with that cool name?! Great score my friend. Hey Steve ;) , the kit has a wrench for opening the caseback and an allen key for changing the bracelet and the bezel. The original...

Its a 41mm without crown and 15mm thick. Lug to lug is 48mm.marchone wrote:Very Seiko-ish dials on those. What are the dimensions? Short lugs so L2L looks short.
If you ever had a Heuer or TAG-Heuer 980.023 or 980.023N you know exactly the size.

Sinn 801 1000mt
After some searching, eventually I got one for Xmas :santa: I wrote to Sinn customer service and they kindly replied to me: Dear Mr. ....., Thank you for your request. The mentioned watch is a self-winding wristwatch, Sinn model 801. It has an ETA 2873 movement or an FE 4611A movement. The case is m...

Eberhard Scafograf 1000mt
Hello guys, here is a vintage quartz divers watch you seldom see. It is a 1000mt quartz divers watch sold by Eberhard, Breitling and Scubapro around 1985. It measures 40,5mm without crown with a 13mm thickness. The nicely done SS bracelet, with a very smooth finish, has a quick release mechanism and...

Re: Did everyone get the Doxa Jenny for $990 email?
Very nice watch at a decent price. However, I agree, its too large for me and compared with the vintage one.
Above all, the vintage lugs design was beautiful. I dont like the new ones with the 50mm lug-to-lug lenght.

With a real WR100, call it a pilot or a cook watch, you should snorkel wthout fear.

Re: Dievas Flieger Vintage, kind of cool
WR100? Too dangerous nowadays.
40 years ago you could scubadive with WR150s.
Today you cant be safe even snorkeling with a WR100.

Re: Italian Navy Frogmen and Deep Divers watches
Thank you all for reading my horrible english. I have disassembled two Citizen NY0040 divers watches, one civilian and one Marina Militare. They are identical. We know that, from the '70s, Marina Miltare watches have always been WR500 or more so we think they tested them and marked them again. Moreo...

Re: 6309-7040 from February of 1981
I had several chats with the owner of the website before I purchased. This example was originally a Scubapro faced version. So when it was refurbished an aftermarket Scubapro face was used. The company that does the work definitely takes their time and really goes over each watch with a fine tooth ...

Re: New Squale 1545MI "MilSub"
I like it for what it is. Is it really made in Switzerland? Yes they are. Someone has posted pics when he visited Squale But these are made for Gnomon models I think? A few sell them but I don't think it's part of the regale Squale line. I could be wrong. The 1545 line of watches is made only for U...

And .... probably the Squale weighs two thirds of the Steinhart (200 grams on SS bracelet, really too much).
