I like it but dump the HE valve. The pain in the ass part about the current Omega's is all HE valves and chrono pushers are not serviceable. You have to buy new ones if they do pass water resistance.

A hard nope from me. If it had 2254 hands, i would lean towards a maybe.

I never like those hands...

I’m with Mark on this.
I like the no-date and can tolerate the fake aged lume, but is it really so difficult to understand that there is a desire for a new 2254?
The HEV isn’t my thing either, but I’ll shut up about that if they give us a modern no-date 300 / 2254.
They’ve got the case and movement, so it’s just a simple dial and hands think.
C’mon already!

I also much prefer the sword hands.
However, after having briefly owned one of the new Seamasters, I can say these skeleton hands aren’t so bad in person. They’re much better finished than the previous generation’s hands

I’m one of those that don’t mind the faux lume. However, it seems like overkill here. Not sure why but the watch looks very “tan”. I’ll need to see IRL.

hey, at least it doesn't have some oversized, hokey bond device to bork it all up.

That’s a big no. Not a fan of the faux lume. Needs a date. I agree with others that an updated 2254 would make a killing here.

I think it looks good. I wouldn't buy it without a date, but the faux-aged lume doesn't bother me.
I don't know about "Naiad Lock", but at least that's only on the caseback.

Fauxtina is very expensive.

Really like Omega and also like "fauxtina" on some watches, but it is too dark for my liking. Also it looks weird on the bezel, which appears to be a ceramic insert (which would not discolor in the real world).

I like the matte dial/bezel finish most. That's what really stands out to me.

If it had white lume/bezel markers and sword/2254 hands...I would be a buyer. Well, except for that bracelet, which is an abomination

According to Hodinkee, the bezel is anodized aluminum.

I prefer that.
