Made a 2 pc strap out of a nato to work on the tiburon. Not bad for a first attempt. Just need to add a stitch line on the lug side for added security.

Did you use a stitching machine or by hand?

I’d like to try the same as I just don’t use my natos any more, as I don’t like how they make watches look taller.

Switched to two piece Zulus now but would like the slimmer hardware if I could

I haven’t stitched it yet. Just did a test fit. I experimented with a scrap piece and it has to be machine sewed. I tried handsewing but when I use this tool to pierce stitch holes the nylon frays and it looks like shit. The white stitch was done on my mom’s home sewing machine and that didn’t come out so good because the thread is way to thin.

I’m going to have my mom take it to work as they have industrial sewing machine and thicker proper thread to do this.

Out riding, just getting some refreshments after wrestling a 600kb bike through some riverside mud to reach some elevation
