Yep. Vintage watch prices in general have gone crazy. Years ago, I knew vintage Speedmaster and Heuer prices would explode. Yet while the thought of investing in them crossed my mind, I didn't. Damn shame.

I keep wondering when it’s going to stop, but it sure doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

I was chatting to a fellow Heuer guy the other day... Seems there is a 'split' in Heuer values. Only the very best examples can command huge values, whereas examples that aren't perfect struggle to attract any interest.

As an example..
I've had little response in a 1968 Autavia 3646 'Andretti' I'm selling. A fine example of one sold on the Heuer forum 6 months ago for £12k. Mine isn't perfect, so I started at £10k, then down to £8k, and now had interest at £6.5k.

Seems like prices on the most popular vintage watches are going up but vintage Heuer has skyrocketed the most in price. Some times I think of selling a lot of mine off before the price drops but the more I wait the more the prices go up. Only thing that bothers me if I sell any I will never be able to afford to buy one back if I miss it.
