Dream Achieved: My First Rolex
Dream Achieved: My First Rolex
This thing is full of DWC DNA: Mark F (MDF), Jason (jtbenson), Mark T (drster) and now me. You all know Mark is great to deal with, but he's also just a great guy (no homo.) Thanks Mark!
Sorry for the crap pics - I really should get a camera. The last one is one of Mark's sales pics.
Mark's rocking his BP RG Aqua Lung - amazing timepiece. Still love Bremont though.

Mike, first impressions after just 5 hours - I can already say this watch is like no other I've worn. Very simple design yet with a real presence; I like the fact that you can compare the 114060 to the '53 Sub and all the design elements remain. At 40 mil it still looks good on my 7.5 wrist - probably because lug to lug it's 44. And the bracelet is crazy comfortable; I like the fact that I can adjust it with Glidelock as needed to keep it fitting perfectly. And the blue Chromalight lume looks super cool too. Finally I'm told it's accurate to within 1 sec per week.
You get a sense of why Rolex takes a year to make each one of these.
