Sinn EZM3F landed today.
First impressions; clean dial, fantastic case shape, great bezel with no play, nice lume. The 200m water resistance is surely fine for the shower and washing the car. I suspect it'll do better in the real world as the standard EZM3 is 500m. A domed EZM1 style crystal would put this over the top.
I've come to the realization that smaller watches - 40mm-42mm - work best for my preferred style of wear, on a NATO strap. Having owned larger watches I usually find they also look good on NATO, but tend to either be too large or too heavy, causing discomfort or feeling very lopsided. This 41mm piece wears great on a NATO and, while the lug to lug is at my "minimum acceptable" (for my 8" wrist) I don't find the watch too small overall. I think the NATO hardware helps give it a visually larger overall wrist presence.
Of course, the Ranger, at 41mm also works perfectly on NATO.
Your thoughts?

Re: Incoming.......
Massive improvement on the old EZM 3 purely by removing the extra numerals on the dial. Nice one!
Re: Incoming.......
I like it, and it's perfect on NATO.

Too small on your wrist... I want one.
Re: Incoming.......
So I should probably sell you this one then right, since it's too small?streetracer101 wrote:Too small on your wrist... I want one.

Congrats Ed--looks great..
Re: Incoming.......
I've had a couple left-crown Sinn's and I have no problem with them. It's different but works fine.Seppia wrote:Looks perfect on a nato. How are you feeling the left crown?
I wear all my watches on the right wrist since I was a kid (I'm not lefty) and the few times I tried to wear them on the left the crown bothered me big time on larger watches.
I always wondered how come left crown watches weren't more common
Re: Incoming.......
Thanks guys. The size is my only concern.
Please do give me your thoughts on small Sinn vs large Hoppy.

Fantastic! I like the white date better than the red date.
The size is perfect, too
I love mine with its extra numbers

Re: Incoming.......
Looks like a 36mm watch on my wrist. It could work for you.
Re: Incoming.......
Funny thing is a 36mm Explorer was my first Rolex, back in 1999. I wore the shit outta that thing and never once thought about the size. After owning Panerai, Planet Ocean XL, and big Kobolds & Korsbeks I now have size on the mind all the time, even though it's likely not a real issue.dukerules wrote:Looks like a 36mm watch on my wrist. Doesn't Mike (Demer) have my size wrist and wear 40mm stuff too?

Thanks. I've always liked the EZM1 but don't do chronos, so this got me 80% of the look for 35% the price.

Re: Incoming.......
Ed that looks comfy as a mofo - size be damned. I wear from 34 to 48 there is room in the collection for all sizes. That is the Honey Badger of watches - small, but badass.

Re: Incoming.......
Looks just a bit smaller that what I would wear and I'm sure smaller than what you're used to but there's room in the collection for that. With the Nato it looks like a damn fine comfortable and casual combo

Debaufre NavB - my mistake, I think it's a mere 47.
