Aegir Grey Dial CD-2 finally on the wrist!
24mm x 20mm Orange Cordura Canvas strapped to the CD-2. I have a Red one also to match the red on the dial.
I just like the way the strap tapers from 24mm to 20mm. Aesthetically pleasing to my eye and directs all attention to the watch.
I actually prefer this Grey dial over my White one. Most of you know my love for White Dials.
The DLC'd deployant clasp is temporary. I am waiting to receive a brushed version.

Like it! The red will work even better.

That does look sharp, and I agree the red will probably look even better.

That is a sweet strap. Was it custom made? If so PM me who made it. I'll order one but have that with an semi aggressive padding and then it would be the tits!!

Nice.
I've moved to straps with a taper when possible.

Looks good. Are those clasps comfortable?

It is slightly padded, but I like it this way. Very light and "airy".Danny_T wrote:That is a sweet strap. Was it custom made? If so PM me who made it. I'll order one but have that with an semi aggressive padding and then it would be the tits!!
I wanted to try a 24/20 strap so this fit the bill. I'm actually going to purchase other colors. I have a 6.75" wrist and check where the tail ends.

Yup. There's just something with tapering straps especially this drastic.mattcantwin wrote:Nice.

This is the primary way I like to wear my straps. Very comfortable to me and it saves the straps from excessive wear as compared to when using conventional buckles.CGSshorty wrote:Looks good. Are those clasps comfortable?

Outstanding Gerald. I think the red will look better but that strap is pretty dang cool.

Re: Aegir Grey Dial CD-2 finally on the wrist!
I'm down with the taper but not with that strap.
Re: Aegir Grey Dial CD-2 finally on the wrist!
It's a decent looking combo. Congrats on the new watch!

Lookin' good Gerald. Love the contrast in that combo. Btw, what deploy clasps are you using?

Thanks Corey!ZASKAR36 wrote:Lookin' good Gerald. Love the contrast in that combo. Btw, what deploy clasps are you using?
I rechecked this deployant clasp. This particular one is a Hadley-Roma PVD clasp. I had mentioned it was a DLC clasp, my bad.
I have two other 20mm deployant clasps that I purchased from RHD.

I had the two polished clasps bead blasted and DLC'd by Jack. It costs more to DLC than the price paid for the RHD clasps, , but worth it because the RHD clasps have a cooler release system.
