I'm guessing other watches could be done as well... it does protect against pin failure I guess.

I really like the idea... the execution not so much. Kind of cheapens the look of the PAM in my opinion.

The black might look better than the yellow though

Probably comfortable, and would definitely protect the watch if you like to wear it in the ocean, but terrible to look at.

I would have to agree with the others. Cheapens the watch. Way too much rubber and has a Swatch vibe.

Mostly seems to protect the watch from your wrist as the outer edges are all still unprotected.

I totally get the "cool or stupid" as I'm hovering between the two. Maybe the black one wouldn't look too bad?

Looks stupid. If you want to protect the watch from loss in the ocean wear a $15 Nato.

Looks like a knock off of Ted Su's Concept Rubber. I think he was charging about $300....

It has it's function. This is a specialized piece and probably mainly for diving or any other water sport. I'd buy it for function. Doesn't look that bad. It could be worse.

I guess if it were on a Michael Kors watch it might be cool.

On a Panerai? Fuckin stupid.

Having said that, I wear $20 NATOs on my Rolex, so there's no accounting for taste I guess.

You could probably count the number of people who dive with a Panerai on one hand - and you probably wouldn't need your thumb :) Seems like a solution looking for a problem.

I don't know but I want the 25 in the pic - the patina is perfect - so hot...

I think it looks dumb, but getting past the look, I believe a giant piece of rubber would be hella uncomfortable

I just have 1 question, do you have to take it off that contraption just to set time and wind manual version of Pam?
