I'm going to wait a day or few before loading the update.

Can't speak for Android but after seeing the cluster fuck that occurred previously with iOS I haven't updated in over 6 months

I installed the update and haven't had any (new) issues. The main functional change seems to be the addition of a fast path to post in a sub-forum from the main forum page. It saves you the trouble of navigating to a sub-forum in order to post to it. A lot of the navigational issues from a few months ago were fixed a while back. It's certainly a lot better than it was a few updates ago.

I use Android and haven't updated Tapadumbdumb in months. Always read the reviews now, and haven't been convinced it's worth the headache yet.

The latest version with android 5.0 optimizations is pretty good. I don't think it will ever return to the "hardcore" user style of all text and minimal UI as it was but it's much more usable now. A few things still don't make sense but they'll get there.
