I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Not in the market tho.

Good point. I hope it's something cool and not just a silly edition with a 007 logo or some such nonsense on it.jimyritz wrote:The Blue Ti version is growing on me...But the price blows...

I don't think PCL's go very well with dive watches, but I'm not a huge fan of this particular watch in general.DAVIDSWdan wrote:What do you guys think about the PCL's? We've gotten mixed reviews but most tend to not like them.

Has there ever been a good Bond LE? Everyone I can think of has a "007" for an hour marker or stuck on the end of the second hand.JBZ wrote:I wouldn't hold my breath.dukerules wrote:Good point. Re: Seamaster 300 added to the Omega website
To me, it's not they're horrible, per se. Just that they're kind of kitschy and Omega charges a premium for them. Plus, I'd rather just wear a regular Seamaster or PO. I mean, it's not like even a fictional character like James Bond would be walking around with a watch that said "007" on the dial.JP Chestnut wrote:Has there ever been a good Bond LE? The one with "007" instead of a "7" marker was fairly horrible.JBZ wrote:To me, it's not they're horrible, per se. Just that they're kind of kitschy and Omega charges a premium for them. Ofrei could be more user friendly, but it looks like AR crystals run about $200.

I used to like this. Until I saw Cesar's SM300 first hand.
I'll take that anytime over the reissue.

Re: Seamaster 300 added to the Omega website
Hi all,
I actually got try on the new SS SM300 at the Omega boutique the other day as they still have it in stock from back in November when they first got it in whilst I still think its a great looking watch but I found it wore strangely on my wrist and I'll try and explain why and the things that I found strange. First is that the dial and bezel are quite a bit smaller then the mid case and although the faux patina didn't bother me the size of the dial and the markers did as they just looked really small and off IMO in relation to the mid case. Also the see through case back is quite a bit smaller then the mid case and is quite thick so looking it from the side it has three different sizes the dial and bezel the the larger mid case and this protruding smaller circle of the case back, it also made it feel quite strange on the wrist as the case back makes it sit high and not flat on the wrist. Although to my surprise the polished centre links didn't look to shiny in real life or bother me at all and the new clasp is really nice but overall I just didn't like how the watch felt or looked on the wrist. Not saying it can't or won't be the prefect watch for anyone else but I would be interested to see what others think once they get to try one on as maybe its just me.

There really is something odd about the size. It looked small (in a not nice way), but wore large. Really weird, and I'm glad I'm not the only person who noticed it.Dogmann wrote:Hi all,

I commented last weekend at the CT GTG on the stacked assembly of the new Speedmasters. Seems to be a general direction for Omega now.
only accurate watches are interesting
Re: Seamaster 300 added to the Omega website
Hi all
Just found this great picture on another forum that shows exactly what I mean about the case being three sizes and how the see through case back sticks out at the bottom. This is what I think made it sit strangely and high on my wrist its funny I still love this watch in all the pictures I see of it just not so much on the wrist.

Believe me it doesn't sit that high.
If it's possible you really need to measure this watch with sized bracelet.
I will give you my impressions during the week. I will try to capture some details.

Absolutely gorgeous. I agree, it looks like it sits well on the wrist from these pics.
