Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
Curious if anyone has one, opinions etc? I haven't used android or IOS in a long time but may try one out. Saw the note 4 and looked cool. I like customizations of android I think as long as the user experience isn't muddy. I know IOS is great there.

Re: Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
I don't use a Note but recently switched to a Galaxy S5 from an iPhone and have no regrets. In fact I prefer it in many ways. The user experience is at least as good IMO. Integration with a Mac is obviously not as tight but that hasn't really presented much of a problem.

I like the idea of easy drag and drop music to SD which I have now, and couldn't imagine not having that on iPhone.

Great phone.
Had S4 now using note 3.
Getting Note4. All great phones.
Ipad irritates me enough so i can't imagine going back to iPhone.

I have a Note 2 and my wife has a Note 3. They're the bomb! I guess the 4 and especially the 4-Edge are awesome.

I too have a Note 2 and will will probably upgrade to the Note 4.
I love the ability to take snapshots of our whiteboard sessions at work, add annotations, then email the result back to the team. Lots of horsepower too, and the large screen makes watching sports programs outside of the house a joy!

Yeah, I do that, too. I tried three different sized tablets (10", 8.9", 7") and got rid of them after I bought my Note 2...it does it all!Chronos wrote:I too have a Note 2 and will will probably upgrade to the Note 4.

Re: Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
seems like thru this weekend Best Buy is giving a $200 credit if you trade in any old smartphone that works......I wa told thats even if i want to buy the Note outright with no contract which is what i want to do....That would make it like $550 which is better than Verizon direct at $699. SO even though Best Buys full price is higher than Verizon, after the trade in, its way better. I may do this.....pondering.

I keep my Note 2 in a Trident Cyclops case of silicon/polycarbonate that's super protective and slim-fitting...about $20-25 on eBay in several colors.

Same here. Used for the last 9th or so. It's killer.
Re: Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
Eric what are you using for your camera setting?
Not liking the burst mode by default

Re: Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
Using the standard camera, takes good pics but sluggish. Takes a long time to show the pic after snapping it. Nothing compared to my Nokia windows phones cameras...I've come to accept that.
Re: Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
Mine doesn't take burst though by default. Either that or I turned it off. I hate how when u press the video camera button, it starts recording versus simply swapping over to the video cam.

Yeah Note 3 camera interface was tons better.ericf4 wrote:Mine doesn't take burst though by default. Either that or I turned it off. I hate how when u press the video camera button, it starts recording versus simply swapping over to the video cam.
Most likely will be fixed with KitKat that's about to roll out. Right now I'm using Food mode to avoid burst that's on VZ Note 4.
Re: Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
I have kit Kat on note 4 as it came that way. Lollipop coming soon.

On VZ note 4 burst mode cannot be deactivated. Stupidest thing I've ever seen.
Re: Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
Mine takes one shot at a time...not sure.

This is where I'm at. About to sell my iPad for a Tab 4 because the latest iOS upgrades have affected overall performance.Panerai7 wrote:Great phone.

Re: Any Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users?
Have an HTC 1 as personal and iPhone5 for work. I'm not a power user by any stretch, but I can't figure out why iPhone is so popular. I'd punt the iPhone without a thought. IPhone is supposed to be easy, but I've solely been an Android user and iPhone just doesn't work for me. Control feels all wrong everywhere. Don't like the text editing. And I really prefer the camera on my HTC.
