Thanks Rahul, really enjoyed chatting with you! Thanks for the beer!dukerules wrote:Jeremy, I'm glad you a decided to stop in and post! Great meeting you Saturday. And good call on the AL&S.
I confess to being another huge koolaid drinker wrt Bremont. It seems like they are catching on more and more. Have you seen one in the metal, maybe over at Feldmar..? I *think* they are still an AD.Terpits wrote:Awesome!
Welcome Jeremy.
I find it hard to believe another Bremont fan boy as much as RMM!
Welcome again. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Matt! To answer your question, I got plugged in over at alt1tude when Piers first launched the site. At one point I won a competition over there and started chatting with him via PM. We ended up establishing a repoire and when he was looking for some help on the form, asked if I'd be interested in helping out as a moderator, which I did. One thing led to another and Piers ended up launching his own new brand, Pinion, and at that point felt as though it would be a conflict of interest to run a Bremont fan forum while establishing Pinion. So that's that! He's a great guy and is living the dream making some great watches these days!mattjmcd wrote:Welcome aboard, Jeremy. I've always been kinda curious how you got hooked up with Piers. Good to see you here, too. Also, nice job posting a pic of a pic from Jim Leslie! For the win!!! Speaking of... we gotta get him over here, too. He is good people. Anyway, great pictures and solid prose, man. Thanks for the post.
We have one. It's called "Red Bar", and it goes down every Wednesday. Even better, if you like Bremont, Mr. Pearson's a regular and he's always loaded for bear... ;-)jimyritz wrote:We need another Northeast GTG...
