Bremont GTG in Greenville SC - LOTS of pictures
Cheers, lads!
I drove up to Greenville saturday morning for a GTG hosted by Mike Pearson, who is the James Brown of the watch world as in he is the hardest working man in the business. More than that he a great, enthusiastic and genuine dude. More that that he brought many wonderful watches and goodies.
Large enough crowd to be participative but not so large as to get lost in the crowd. Mike hooked us up with drinks and food and cool Bremont t-shirts.
Some of you have seen these on IG and for the others, here you go:
Walking from the hotel to the location, I went into "tourist mode" and took a few shots of lovely downtown Greenville.
There are sayings, quotes, parables up and down as you walk the sidewalk:
There are 15 or so of these little guys in downtown - great for kids (or nerds like me)
Cool shops along the way
Niiiiice:
This is UNACCEPTABLE - I will be sending a strongly worded email to the mayor!!
Here is our spot for the night - the Nose Dive
Mike Pearson and Jeremy getting set up
A few of the new Boeing line:
A Rainbow of colored barrels
Rahul and Jeremy talk about the Temple Island rubber strap:
Two LE's....Victory and Codebreaker: Believe the Hype! these are awesome
Two favorites: the ALT1-B and Polished ALT1-C
Beauty and the Beast
The MBIII prototype and a cool Martin Baker hat:
The Anthracite Dial is amazing in person
WorldTimer -
Wearing Rahul's Black/Mint S500 - wasn't a fan of the colors until I saw it in person - sooooo nice in person
Reeeeeeaaaaaaly like this one:
On the walk back to the hotel was a blues band - the female drummer had a great voice
Sunday morning I took a few shots of other parts of Greenville with my (reunited) ALT1-C/CR
If you made it this far, It was a fantastic time!

Had a great time last night, and it was great to finally meet RMM, who is a seriously cool dude
Loved almost everything I tried last night. The standouts for me were the Terra Nova and my new fave Bremont, the white dial 247

I was never a big Bremont fan, but a few of those really intrigue me. That black face Boeing 247 and Rahul's S500 - very nice

Re: Bremont GTG in Greenville SC - LOTS of pictures
Hey Guys!
Long-time lurker, first time poster here! I'm Jeremy, live in SC and like you guys, addicted to watches! Some of you may recognize me from over at Alt1tude or WUS, and if so, you probably know I'm a big fan of the Bremont brand...maybe as much as Rockmastermike!
After meeting RMM a month ago to set up a watch swap, and then Rahul last night at the GTG, they encouraged me to drop by here and say hi! So hello to everyone, and glad to be here!
I wanted to also share some pictures from the event we had last night! Hope you guys enjoy them, and hope some of you can get in on the next one!
Thanks to RMM for hitting all of the highlights of the GTG for us! I felt like we had an awesome group and although we had a few no-shows, the event went off splendidly and I think everyone had a great time. I really appreciate that almost everyone in attendance traveled >2 hours to be with us! Greenville worked out to be the geographical center of those who planned on attending, but I realize that it took a good bit of planning and sacrifice for folks to drive up and meet us, so thanks again to all who joined in on the fun!
Now, on to the pictures! Excuse the lighting in some of these... as the night went on, it became harder and harder to get clear shots! (Hands might not have been as steady after a few libations as well! )
Setting up the table...Lots of watches ended up changing hands here!!
Some of the first guests arriving, Mike and Josh, along with his son...Even the kids were excited about all of these Bremonts!
Scott and his lovely wife, Carol made it up from Atlanta to join us.
More folks arriving, gathering around the table to talk watches. Was glad to see Rahul and Ted make it down!
Alan and Carter sitting down, having a chat over some drinks. Glad you guys could make it!
Michael Pearson gave a little presentation on the past, present, and future of Bremont Watch Company. I must say, learned several things I didn't know about the company!
The guy knows how to captivate an audience! As Rockmastermike said, he works HARD and is so PASSIONATE about growing the Bremont brand. Was a treat to hear him speak.
Captain Jim! You made it into the Bremont Slideshow! Cheers!
Time to try on some watches!! First up, the sexy Boeing Model 247. Reminiscent of the ALT1-C, but with an edgier design, incorporating some Boeing elements, including the blue highlights of the dial and strap stitching. This one is going to be a big seller!
Next up, the new Boeing Model 1. Simple, clean 3-hander with a lot of personality. My favorite feature is the crown guard implemented into the top case!
The Supermarine Terra Nova also made an appearance! Was impressed with the weight difference, but also loved the color of the titanium case! Looks very sleek and unique.
Several different Martin Maker series watches made an appearance! Seen here is the MBII Orange, the MBIII Bronze, and the LE The Watch Gallery MBII, owned by Ted (av8r51). Loved all three! Ted didn't bring his Alt1tude SE, but owns one that he has NEVER worn! Good on ya, Ted!
A selection of different Martin Baker barrel colors, INCLUDING, the magnificently rare RED barrel! I tried multiple times to stash it in my pocket, but alas, it went home with Michael Pearson
The ultimate stealth watch, the ALT1-B and its stunning red and white highlights. Impressive!
A few other Limited Editions made the trip as well! This was my first time handling a Codebreaker...Didn't want to take it off!
Of course, Michael Pearson had his "Billy Whizz II" Norton on wrist, but passed it around for us all to check out. Was really pleased by the markers on this one. The picture doesn't do it justice!
Scott was sporting his Victory on wrist to the GTG, but was kind enough to let us all check it out! That retrograde second hand is MESMERIZING! I could have watched it all night! The rear case was as beautiful as advertised. Bremont really does go all out on their Limited Edition designs.
Some more fun around the table by the crew before wrapping things up.
As a parting gift from the Greenville GTG crew, we got a South Carolina flag and all signed it to give to Michael. He plans to take it back to the New York Office and fly it proudly from the wall! Who know, maybe it will make an appearance at the launch of the Bremont NYC Boutique? Sorry guys, no date nailed down for its Grand Opening yet.
Thanks again to Rahul, Mike, Scott, Carol, Ted, Alan, Carter, Josh and Michael Pearson, for taking the time out of their busy schedules to travel and attend this 1st Southeastern USA ALT1TUDE///Bremont GTG! We all felt like it was a great success, and I hope to be able to see you all and more at the next one!
Cheers!
Jeremy
