I love my new Soarway, and this new SMG is hot.

I hope they're returning to the Kobold of old. The new SD seems to be a move in the right direction.

No thanks, I'm trying to cut down

I've always liked their designs and the soarway case IMO is really cool, I'm glad I can pull of their lug to lug lengths.
The new SMG-2's PVD coating creates a cool color combo, I hope that date window is optional or color matched when it comes out though.

I think they showed off a new soarway diver on FB with the same PVD color as well. I can see myself getting another watch from them down the line...

I just talked to Brian. He said they could likely order a dial without the date cutout. This watch, no-date, GMT, on a black Isofrane.....I'm all

Is that their "introductory" or "retail"?

Intro pricing seemed to be on only the SD as it's the new entry level piece.

You're right Chris ! :) Looks fantastic with the combination of the gray, and the finish of the
case. ..The black, along with white are perfect also !

You can really appreciate the simplicity of the watch, but then also the unique combination
or formula Kobold went for here. Got to give it two thumbs up..

Wow, that just about a perfect tacticool.
"30ish years of martial arts and I've actually had the honor of training lots of LEO, spec ops and even SEAL team 6 on base, fitness training, not martial arts, but still the coolest thing I've done.

Full on egg head corporate job and I fly quite a bit so I'm really looking forward to adding to my collection of TSA friendly self defense tools. I have amcouple tactical pens, but I want to up the game and get into some custom stuff. Been watch obsessed for a while but this seems more fun.

Thanks for letting me play! "

Does anyone know if their parts prices have been adjusted to match the more reasonable MSRP?

I like it. Except for the date window, it looks wrong and 'squished' to me

I like having a date. But not there. Maybe at 6 would be better. Or at 4. But not at 3 1/2.
