Two new ones landed

Post by rockmastermike » Sun Jan 05, 2014 11:46 am

A little late with the show and tell but I got the Solo for myself for Christmas and liked it so much I bought the ALT1-C a couple of days later.
Packaging is pretty slick with the leather case and strap changing tool, extra strap slots and accompanying paperwork well organized.

Love the way the light picks up on the raised markers at 3/6/9 and on the 5 min markers on the chapter ring. Subtle but enough to make you smile

If Michelangelo made lugs, they would look like these

Love the Strong Blue Lume on the numbers

Image

OEM Nubuck works well, too....versatile watch

Image

Then this one came in with the cream dial.....oh my, Jae was right, this could be the one, but we've heard that before.....

the new pair getting along - nice SNPR strap on the Solo

thanks everyone - they are both well made and comfortable - not comfortable as in it doesn't bother me to wear but comfortable as in, they actually feel good to wear.

Nick, I'll bring them next time we get together - if I can keep them long enough

Bremont rocks, and you've got two great ones there. (for some reason, I thought you'd picked up an MBII, but I realize it was a Solo)

The cream dial is indeed lovely. The black dial is great, too, wonderful 3-hander, elegant and tough at the same time

Blue should be next I guess, probably a U2 blue, a blue Supermarine or even maybe a blue World Timer??

either way the quality is unquestionable

I agree, you get a ton of watch for the money from this company, and the great CS is the icing on top.
