Don't Need Two Screwdrivers to Mod the Strap on a "G" ...

But you'll need a hammer and a "Belt Hole Punch" (Since the punch's leading edge is sharp, for a clean cut).

... and if you have a "G" with a loose keeper similar to the Aviator's (which imo, is a worthless POS) metal keeper. Couple of o-rings work well to keep the keeper in place.

That's bout it!

PS Wouldn't have tried this unless I had a extra strap for the Aviator! You know, just in case I messed up!

Thanks "D"! I always seem to be between the holes in the strap, so now the Aviator fits perfect!

By the way, how's your boy doing (the Dinosaur Extincterer)? Always love the photo of him and that huge bone! ..

Love the photo! Calvin's doing great, picked up 5 pounds the last time he had his blood work done (may be even another pound or so since). Both of us got close to stepp'in on a Mojave Green a month or so ago. Scared the crap out of me since that encounter was too close for comfort. Ran into another a few weeks ago as well. One good thing is these guys aren't aggressive, they only curl in defense.

Nice mod Lance and great idea. I actually had this issue with a few G's and never thought of this fix. So maybe next time I will try it out. Thanks for the info and welcome back out of hybernation.

Thanks again Terry! ... It's funny how a simple thing like enlarging a hole can make wearing a "G" much more comfortable!

Steven, LOVE Cato's photo! He's looking really great! Give the Boy couple of scratches behind the ear from Calvin and me! ...

Sure will about the Mojave's! No more looking up at the Hawk who lives / sits looking for prey in one of the towers where we walk. Eye's are now ALWAYS fixed to the ground! But it still give's me the chills to know how close we came to being hit by that pissed off Mojave!
