Lucky you. We are having a totally crap summer and today/tomorrow we are told there will be one months rain in one day and we have 37 flood warnings in force.
The weatherman explained that at this end of the 'jet stream' we are having bad weather, while at the other end of the 'jet stream'...ie you guys, are enjoying a heat wave :angryfire:
Mike you really did come over here at the right time, the only few weeks of half decent weather we have had this year.

It's about 80F and sunny with no humidity here in Calif real nice weather just warm enough not to use the air conditioner wish it would stay this way all summer.I hated humidity when I was over sea's and when ever the Navy wold send me to the eastcoast in the summer.

i feel for you dude. it's been in the 97-100 degree range in virginia. i was raised in florida, so it doesn't bother me too much...but my kids are pretty pissed off at me because i've been going drill seargent on their ass about pushing fluids. i probably sound like an asshole, telling them to empty their water bottles multiple times a day...but i don't want them to dehydrate.

I remember growing up in Cleveland - don't bother drying off after your shower in the Summer - it won't do much. Hope it gets better for ya bud - I don't miss the climate in Cleveland (I do miss Westside Market though).
it's a lot nicer now Zack.... I'll take a few pics next time down, Ohio City is much better as well. LEt me know what side of town you were on.

In case anyone's wondering, this is why the British are always moaning about the weather. We'll be in a tent two weeks from today and we're seriously thinking of taking a small portable heater with us. Mind you, I do understand that extreme heat can be just as wearing.

Sure 105 isn't bad with your 12% humidity, but try it with our Midwest humidity 3-4 times that and it gets a little uncomfortable, along with our -20 winters we are adapted too.

Today, about 80, light sw breeze, humidity about 60%, tonight, low around about 58, I would never live anywhere further than a mile from the beach, we get a few days of 90+, but thats rare, I feel for you guys in the midwest, been there this time of year and had to make do with a wave-pool ( Des Moines ) , awful

No doubt. Some people discount the humidity, but around here (MN) they keep blathering on about the "heat index." Today is going to be pretty pleasant with a forecasted heat index of only 91, compared to days this past week where it was well over 100.
