Rescue Orange Gulfman

Post by CGSshorty » Fri Feb 11, 2011 8:31 pm

I wanted an orange G, but I am cheap when it comes to G Shocks. While scouring ebay I found this one, which was listed simply as "used orange g shock good condition". No model # or anything but it looked like it was in decent shape in the two crappy pictures. I took a chance and submitted a pretty low bid with about ten seconds left and I won it. It arrived today and is in fantastic shape. Model # is G9100-R. It didn't have any box/tin or manual, but I don't care about that stuff. it has a cool Ti caseback with a turtle on it and there is some kind of hammer visible in the display when it is illuminated. It has some kind of moon/tide display too. Did I get a good one?

Great to hear, I paid a ton less than these usually sell for on ebay. The sellers terrible description helped me I think.

Because of this thread I am now looking at the G-Rescue series, thanks Chris :cussing: . I like this GR Gulfman and the GR Mudman looks cool too, but I can only buy one .

Looks great. The size looks just right, how do you like the fit?
On the back will be the module number. On the Casio site, Wiki, or whatever, all the manuals are listed according to the module number.
I'd say the time in Mauritius is pretty important.

The size is good Jay. Not as big as my XL model but it wears slightly bigger than the Mudman. Thanks for the info about the manual, I figured there had to be a resource for them somewhere.
