2019 & 2020 by Quarter
I keep an excel sheet recording my daily watch wear on one tab, changes in and out by month on another tab, and more tabs for grouping wear rate % by month and quarter and finally a top 3 most worn annually - yes, I am a nerd
2019 most worn by Quarter and then the Top 3 worn for the year
2019 most worn by % of days worn by Quarter:
Q1 - Rolex Datejust 1600 (vintage)
Q2 - Rolex 14060M
Q3 - Rolex 146060M
Q4 - Panerai 233
Top 3 worn by % of days worn for the year:
Rolex 14060M
Panerai 233
Seiko 7546 (loved that little quartz)

Re: 2019 & 2020 by Quarter
Funny thing is the only "most worn" watch by quarter or annually remaining is the 216570 - all the rest are gone....meaning while they were popular for a quarter, that popularity fades.
Of the ones that "won" the quarter, most were by a thin margin so it wasn't a matter of one watch and the rest were scrubs, I tried to spread the love
Also worth noting is I have slowed my in and out velocity by enjoying what I have for a little bit longer....we'll see how long that lasts however

Re: 2019 & 2020 by Quarter
I am up to 10 watches with 2 more incoming. If I had to guess which one I wore last year (2020), it would probably be a tossup between the Planet Ocean XL and the Panerai 562 (both still here), with either the Gold Daytona or SD43 (both gone) rounding out the Top few.
I’ve long thought about using Excel to make a history of watches I’ve bought and sold, categorize it by year/brand purchased, maybe even do some graphs, but that would be a very in-depth project of searching through my email. Hmm... All of my watch purchases and sales are in the same email folder, sorted by date, so maybe I will do that.

I thought I was bad for keeping a spreadsheet to track gas mileage for my car!

You know Mike?! That is too cool actually, and has to be fantastic actually knowing !
I wish I would have kept a log like this. It would have been really neat honestly.
One thing's for sure, it was fun seeing what your year looked like on the wrist.
Genius sir, thanks so very much !!!

Thanks, it's a labor of love as they say. I wish I had started sooner but I'll take what I have and move on

Interesting, but too much faff for me.
I used to change my watch pretty well daily. Now it's often only once or twice a week.

Mike, you might need some help
Generally, change my watch weekly...

You should look by % worn vs. days owned. That'd probably make even more apparent which watches dominate wrist time and which just sat in the box.

Interesting. Am I the only one that may wear more than 1 watch in a day? I have found this to be another way to enjoy the hobby especially during the pandemic. I just wouldn't want to try to track that in a spreadsheet...
