Sub today! Not the most conventional strap choice for the Smurf, but it is very comfortable and adds a little color to a colder November day in Texas!

Put this Seiko mod into the rotation for this week. Needed to supplement the G's.

Brice -- I didn't know you had that one. Looks really good. What's it like on the wrist? Flashiness, height, weight, bracelet comfort?

Been on a sabbatical for a few months, but I grabbed this from my AD on Saturday.

This was a weird purchase for me. I was off the watch grid for a few months. Saw this at the AD, bought it, only when I got home and googled it did I realize that it has a new movement and is a LE hah.Chocodove wrote:Nice. Re: MON 16 NOV *WRUW*
I’ve had it for a couple of months maybe? Bought it brand new from an AD and wore it a few days then put it in the box until this week I was gonna sell it to help fund the new sub. That’s why you had not seen it much.
It’s a solid watch, nice finish and great dial too with good lume. The solid steel bezel is super nice. Winds very smoothly. Bracelet is silly articulated so pretty comfortable and love slanted link look too. Clasp is average. It’s keeping cosc time for me last I checked. It weighs 175g on the bracelet sized for my 6.8l” wrist. It’s not too thick or too heavy as some of the prior Breitling I’ve owned. This is the 42 but it comes on a larger and smaller size too.
It’s not flashy as the top of the case/lugs are brushed and the dial and bezel are both matte blue. The greyed brushed hands and marker frames also keep it sporty vs flashy.
