Read my first book on recently acquired Kindle Paperwhite.

Started out with one of my favorite authors; Dean Koontz.

Six book series features a new character, "Nameless".

(books seem to be around 75 pages each)

Slide installed. Clubhouse all done except for trim. Swing set up- picture taken before I got chain extensions and trapeze bar.
Next is the sandbox and zip line and touch up.

I can't remember the last time we got Chinese food from our favorite Chinese Restaurant; it's been closed well over two months.

It just opened this week and I went there tonight to pick up our order.

Pretty interesting set-up to keep things safe.

Inside door on pass through is lifted and food is inserted.

Then you raise outside door to remove food.

Reminds me of a negative pressure chamber in a Level 4 Biosafety lab.

Must be a universal thing. All of the Chinese places around us are set up in a very similar way.

It’s similar to what the local post office has used for a while, except the PO model is metal framing and plexiglass.

Really cool. Just keep the big kids off your kids’ swings.

Spending most of the time at the end of the dock. Coffee in the daytime, wine at night.

Looks good. If you're not planning to already, you might want to consider bolting a cross piece to the "upside down V" that makes up one side of the swing set. That will shore it up a little more.

I agree on the cross bar. The swing part may need some stiffening.

^^^
Thanks guys

Yes- I put the cross bar on the A frame after the pic. I also put another 2x4 on the post where it connects to the platform. Cut it tall and put 2 big structural screws In it. Those two things made a big difference.

Bought myself an early Father’s Day present and put a big ol’ hammock in the yard.

Of course, my kids have laid claim to it.

About a week ago, my wife and I decided to have a contest to pick the day one of the new chickens would lay the first egg.

I nailed it!

Shameless self-promotion, but I wrote a story about my time in lockdown and how I only wore one watch the whole time. Shame it wasn't a diver... Maybe for the next quarantine? ;)
