Working a lot. Railroad being infrastructure means I’m not getting a break. Even got paperwork Friday authorizing me to pass police and National Guard blockades if we go into full lockdown.

Thanks man. It’s a weird experience. They talk about how trucks and rail are the backbone of the country and I’ve heard that for so long, but I never expected my job to qualify me for any type of security clearance beyond the railroad itself.

ONR is the best. I prefer it to regular car wash products. I've been using it for the last 12 years or so.

Aren't you in the south. I'm getting salt and other shit off my car 6 months out of the year. I'm dubious of rinse-less wash up here.

I'd definitely blast off salt and heavy soil with a pressure washer before doing a rinseless wash.

I don't hand wash my car in the winter (no garage), so it's not an issue for me.

This. Yes, thankfully don’t get too much road salt around here. But yes, if very heavy soil, I’ll do a quick rinse with hose (garden hose but not a pressure washer; I’d be worried to use one of those on a vehicle).

Yep, I told my wife a few weeks ago to plan for 6-9 months. Look at China - they first reported this at the end of December but it had probably been going on there for a month or two. Their curve is just now flattening out and they’ve put in to pretty strict restrictions.

I can't even talk to my wife about it anymore, she's quit reading/watching the news (probably the smart move). Not sure how we're going to survive 6+ months of being cooped up together, expect I'll be out on my ass before this is all over...

On another thought just "what if" over the last 3 years our borders were open. This situation could be way worse.

I know truckers who are out delivering the shit we buy who can't even eat on the road because fast food places won't allow walk throughs in their drive through and the semis can't fit. Dealing with stuff like that, plus possibly getting sick, while making what they make is total bullshit.

Same with cops, EMT, doctors, and nurses.
