Hamilton acrylic crystal?

Hey guys.
Got this 38mm Mechanical and I love it.
I prefer this model to have acrylic.

I saw this listed on WUS:

Does anyone have any info on this, or where I can purchase an acrylic crystal?

Mine came with a slight dome sapphire- pictures second, the black one.

The one up top is the acrlyic dome that I want on mine.

I thought the 38mm has been sold since the 90's or am I thinking of another version? I also thought the original model like the quartz you sold had an acrylic crystal.

I’m not too fond of acrylic. Scratches to dang easy, even with a slight rub from a long sleeve cuff.

Ok I see.
Yes they’ve had a 38 for a long time, but it’s a different case and I don’t know if the crystal is the same as the others ...

As for the early 90’s I sold, it has a flat crystal. Not sure if mineral or sapphire but it was super legible with no glare.

I’m ok with it. When it gets bad I just use some polywatch. Anything vintage or reissue I prefer acrylic dome especially if that’s how the original was made.

I really like the way acrylic looks, but I feel owning a watch with one would drive me nuts with the hairlines. The one speedy I owned was a sapphire sandwich though if I ever got another it would be the classic hesalite.

I checked the website and it said they are not watch makers who can fit them but can supply a watch maker... which leads me to believe they don’t suggest what crystal goes with what watch. I may just have to ask a service person.
