I really like these. I’ve been wanting a quartz lately and this is in my price range. I was actually saving for an Ares onesie in hopes that the $100 off and holiday package was still happening but saw that it’s not offered now.

These are hot. That textured dial is great.
Is there a reference these are homaging? I don't think that's a word but you get what I'm saying...

As a bracelet guy I think this one would work best on my plethora of Toxics, and save some coin on initial purchase. Plus it appears to be a polished center link which doesn't work well with the vintage theme IMHO.BBK357 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 2:14 pmI really like these. Saw it today on instagram... like it a lot. Agree with Eric that it will rock on natos. Damn I like it better than my manual Khaki Field!

I am pretty certain I saw this one at Wind Up last. Really nice watch but it wore pretty big if I recall. I was surprised because they said 41mm. Maybe I am mixing watches up.

I read it has 22mm lugs, not so cool anymore.

I agree Joe. Cool vintage look, but 22mm lugs not good.

I have one of these, the original one with the white lume and I was really happy about it, it has a nice shape and size and was cool looking. The new faux patina does not really look good on it in my opinion.
Personally I actually like the 22mm lugs, it's essentially very close in overall dimensions to an SKX diver.

I don't buy reissues but Newmark did a good one were it was quartz just like this reissue by Hamilton. But one this Newmark did it right were the second hand and minute counter were in the right spot and the minute and hour hand were correct looking, Read link below and see how it looks and probably was cheaper than Hamilton's and Newmark are sold out so only on the flippers market.

My CWC issued chronograph there were three makes Hamilton, Newmark, and CWC same design. Was not hard for Newmark to do it right why not Hamilton who has more money to do it right than a small micro brand were the watch looks correct as the original. Only thing Hamilton got right was the case.

Re: New Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer Chrono Quartz
I remember several years ago I wanted one of these pictured. That is UNTIL I saw them in person at a local AD.
Let's just say I was disappointed as they felt cheap, and this is coming from a guy who only has Seikos.
The Alpina Big Date Startimer Chronos I've had made these feel like a $50 Timex.

Think you are right on Terry. It looks like the same watch actually
Guess with the way the case is shaped, and the pushers, and also
crown, it just feels a little larger. Very cool sir !
It's actually cool that everyone's liking these so much. Other than the
look of the patina, and the price for it being a quartz, it seems to
have a really nice classic feel.
Have to thank all of you guys for all of the pictures of all these different
watches, and also for all of the insight !
Re: New Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer Chrono Quartz
LOL.
I'm sorta with you on this one but as a fun quartz it might be cool derivative to try for that vintage vibe if the head alone can be procured for cheap.
As for 22mm, natos come in that size too, so not a problem.
Size isn't a problem for my 7.5" wrist but I'll wait and see what the consensus is on overall quality. So far in this thread it's not the best impression... Although I can clearly hear Terry's voice in the video Maybe he was just being polite? Initial impressions can be deceiving.

Yep- the bracelet model is cheaper than the leather or NATO.

Well it’s disappointing hearing
that it feels like a cheap watch in person. Thanks for the info- def a watch id have to check out in real life first.

the lady at Wind Up working the booth was great. so I didn't want to tell her "pass" on that watch.
