Recommend me a diving watch

Post by Xaynigl » Sat Nov 16, 2019 3:15 am

Buying a diving watch as a present and have no idea where to start. Looking to spend $80-$150. It’s for a man. I found this website, what can you say about it?

Thanks in advance.

The Seiko recommendation is good. A bit over your budget, but it’s worth it for a watch that looks great and will essentially run forever. Worth noting that it can’t be hand wound.

Orient comes to mind without blowing the budget. $125.

Citizen has some EcoDrive models that would fit. Orient is a great option for a watch with a mechanical movement.

I’m impressed with the positive responses to a first time poster.

It's a little closer to 200 bucks, but the Citizen BN0150 is nicer than the SKX in nearly every way, and probably a little more "maintenance-proof" than a budget auto.

It is actually shocking considering this is a one and done post.
