Having read several reviews, I have to say that I love it.
I’d have to sell maybe a dozen watches to make it happen, though.

msrp is $28,800, so I expect it to be available to mere mortals for what? $60,000 then? :raised:

At that price, even Sirens could not tempt me.
No, it's not Tourettes.

It’s in Nautilus/Royal Oak territory. It’s different and not a Genta clone.

I hate it. It is neat how it manages to look like an integrated bracelet, while seemingly using normal lugs and end links though.

I don’t think time will judge this design well.

I like it. Unique without being stupid.

In some photos, I hate it. But mostly I like it.

I don’t hate it like much of the internet, it seems. I will try it out at the typical Lange used discounts.

I like the dial and case-- need to read up on it more.

I think I'd go with the Glashutte though.

I must have a completely different view on watches. No way I would pay $28,000 for a watch, and especially that one. To me it honestly looks like another quartz designer watch.

I like the look of it but it’s definitely well beyond anything I’ve ever bought. I do think that bracelet isn’t right for it and I have a feeling it would look great on the right strap.

I think it looks fine, but if I had that kind of money to spend on a watch, I can think of several that I'd purchase before this one.

Alas, I just spent $250 on an SKX, so I'm tapped out.

I always like simple dials. Even with much more going on the speedy pro looks better to me. I don't know, maybe my tastes will change someday? This one just looks busy to me. Plus at this price range I'd go Daytona. To each their own though.

That's pretty awful. And for nearly $30K it's time for Lange to figure out how to build a big date complication that puts the two digits in the same plane - without the need for a bar between the digits to try and hide the fact that they aren't. GO does it for a fraction of the cost.

It's $10K above Royal Oak territory.

Well the price is crazy Paul, so I'll just be studying it, and staring at it.

The way the case is squared on the right side is very cool, and gives it an
almost subtle Ploprof feel. 8-) :) Really just appreciate the heads up sir !

I agree. The lugs and bracelet on the ALS look odd.

The GO is a classic.

Does ALS always do the 2:50 hands display instead of the usual 10:10?

Some of you will not like my post but that's what I like about DWC, we can speak our mind. The most I have spent on a timepiece was my pre-owned Tudor BB Heritage Stainless, and there is a select few that I would like to add. However, spending more than $10k for an item you wear on the wrist, the person would have more money than brains. I would prefer to own more Tudors than one Rolex. However...

YMMV!

Nope. Too expensive and I really don’t like the bracelet. AP RO all day.

More money than brains? Maybe, maybe not.

Everyone assigns value to things differently. That’s totally fine. If you can’t bring yourself to spend more than $10k on a watch, that’s cool. But it doesn’t automatically make it a fact.

To a person starving in Africa you have more money than brains. To the son of some sultan, you're too poor to matter. It's almost like different people have different budgets.
