Watchpod Display Stands

Post by r.palace » Mon Oct 21, 2019 8:05 pm

Just wanted to share for those that were unaware, Watchpod has just released their display stands which are pretty much identical to the CP watch stands of yore

Available in Small/Large

Small stand is $14.98 and large is $15.98. Both are also available on Amazon w/ prime shipping at the time of this posting

I’m digging mine. Glad I didn’t have to overpay for the CP stands that still pop up for sale every once in a while

Here’s a Q&D

I’m unfamiliar with watch stand sizing. Which size would be appropriate for my use?

Hey, these are so cool it's not even funny ! 8-) :)

A lot of times watch boxes cover up the watches, but this
allows you to enjoy a watch all the time when you aren't
wearing it. ..So neat sir ! ..Thanks so much !!!

It would be nice if the exposed metal portion is coated with a protective rubber or silicone to avoid watch/bracelet scratches or dings.

While I agree it would be nice, I don’t see how you could scratch anything with the metal if you’re being careful

I thought I ordered the large but apparently not...the stands are tiny!

The nato strap can be cinched up but not the bracelet...

If you grab the two pieces that the strap wraps around and pull apart, you can adjust the size.
I found that my bracelet and strap watches fit differently on the stand as the bracelets tend to lie flatter than thicker straps.

Really not much adjustment there...maybe if you have a bracelet for 7" (or smaller) wrist.

Hi guys, I ordered a small for my 6.75" wrist based on recommendation from Amazon seller and found it much too small.

Here's some data that might help with sizing:

CP Watch Stand: (from "watchdaddy1" on Omegaforum)
S size = (W)45 (D)57 (H)75 / Rod-To-Rod = 65mm
L size = (W)45 (D)65 (H)85 / Rod-To-Rod = 80mm

Watchpod Display Stand: (my measurements)
S size = (W)45 (D)55 (H)72 / Rod-To-Rod = 57mm
L size = (W)45 (D)?? (H)?? / Rod-To-Rod = ?? mm

I don't have a L size Watchpod to measure, but post if you have it.
I'll post an intro soon but wanted to get this up before anyone else gets surprised by the sizing.

Update: I started the Amazon return process, to exchange the small stands for the large stands. I received an email from The Watchpod Team, asking me if it was ok if they sent me 2 large stands AND refunded my money!!!

That's customer service!!

I knew I should have ordered a smallImage

That kind of customer service will definitely earn more of my business.
