Christopher Ward's C65 Trident Diver SH21 L.E.

Did everyone catch this new Christopher Ward by chance?

Their C65 Trident Diver SH21 Limited Edition is actually meant to be
a watch for the modern day James Bond according to CW. With just
a few details including a 41mm stainless steel case, 150m WR, a box
shaped sapphire crystal, aluminum bezel, Old Radium SLN coated
hands, and markers, small seconds, and power reserve, two leather,
and textile straps, stainless steel bracelet, and SH21 automatic behind
a cool case-back too.

Have a look...

Looks nice, but why put only the 12 on the dial. Replace that with a marker, and it would look better.

It's a cool point Mike, and can only think that maybe they wanted to throw
in a little curve ball there. I think I have seen that done with older watches,
so am guessing it's to help the watch have more of a vintage feel. ..But you
know, am picturing it with the marker like you said, and it would look very
cool like you said ! 8-)

2019 seems to be the year of reissues or vintage vibes in watches. Nothing wrong with that when year after year all we see are new watches looking pretty bland and same old same old.
This one sure has a vintage look and it looks great, I like it a lot. The only big downside for me with it is one of my pet hates, a persons name on the dial. I thought it was just me with that pet hate but now know it's not just me. Pity that just a logo could stop me buying one.

My only question is: what’s a “modern day James Bond”?

“5 Days Power” spoils it for me, just write “Chronometer” instead (if certified), or just “5 days”. Case finish is thin and beautiful.

Cool color, but can the "12" and their name be any bigger?
