Hamilton's Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono
Hamilton's Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono
Not sure if everyone had had time to see this new one from Hamilton.
Their Hamilton Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono is actually a reissue of
the 1970's Count-down GMT, and helps celebrate the 50th Anniversary
of the Chrono-Matic also.
With the new watch having details like a brushed 48.5mm x 51.50mm
helmet style stainless steel case, 100m WR, box shaped sapphire crystal,
reverse Panda dial with Super-Luminova coated hands, and markers, a
rotating inner bezel with count-down ring, the Hamilton Calibre H-31
automatic chronograph movement, and black perforated leather strap
with nice red accents.

Looks great.
Re: Hamilton's Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono
I like that a lot! I remember when a lot of people were hoping for manufacturers to come back with re-issues and the last couple of years they have done so in a big way.
Think about it...Buy American

Was the original this large? That thing is huge! (I know, I know).

Re: Hamilton's Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono
I really like that one Tom , pity it's so big though
Re: Hamilton's Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono
Hey, the thanks goes to all of YOU as always !
Just looked up the size of the original Count-Down GMT
Chrono-Matic Michael, and Andy, and they say it is 48mm,
but they don't have the full dimensions. However it looks
pretty close to the reissue here.
Looks like both are pretty big !!

I guess the 51.50mm lug-to-lug makes it wearable-ish for most wrists.
Thanks as always, Tom. I wouldn’t be aware of most of these releases if you didn’t bring them to our attention.

It is pretty big. Or actually really big sir. ..Not sure I could pull it off.
But just is neat to see to tell the truth. ..Thank YOU for the kind words,
along with YOUR thoughts on these Jared !

That’s a good looking watch. I’m a big fan of the Hami chronos. Been thinking of the blue panda that came out recently.
