My Uber driver today is apparently a watchmaker and specializes in vintage stuff. He was wearing this OG Polaris from the 60’s.

My idyllic view of master watchmakers having no choice but to sit day and night at their workbenches servicing various intricate complications for their highly sophisticated clientele has been shattered.
