The Sinn is IN!

Post by matt.wu » Wed Sep 04, 2019 5:43 pm

Revolution x Sinn 155 Bundeswehr

First impressions are good. Caseback is very rounded, as expected, so it’s not a great NATO watch. I’ll put it on a canvas or leather strap tonight.

The star is subtle, as pictures indicated. It disappears in some light.

Overall, the package works really well.

It’s lovely, congrats!

I was super close and had it in the cart the night before (when they were available) but it’s good I didn’t do it since I’d have expected to nato it.

Huge congratulations that was a great buy. I really wanted one but was too late

I don’t like a lot of collab watches but this one is amazing.

Congrats, Matt, looks great. Sinn's best watches tend to be their limited edition collaborations.

Congratulations, that looks great. If I didn’t have the Heuer Bund I’d have been all over that.

love how they managed to space the subdials in an aesthetically pleasing balanced way without cutting into any of the hour arabics (save the omission of 3 and 9) or the minutes/seconds index. bravo!

Awesome!! So is this basically (dimension wise) a 103 case?

Nah. It’s bigger. It’s the same as the previous bunds. Wider case, rounder caseback. 103, while thick, wears much smaller overall.

Might be better on your wrist, but it’s a no go on mine. Maybe I’ll try a perlon eventually. For now, I put it on a thinner rubber.

Yup. I’m not a fan of the munched numerals either.

Normally not a fan of no-date watches, but it’s the proper aesthetic here.

I think a date at 6 would’ve really worked here
