What section should I start the new thread for the LIP homage ?

Thinking rumble room since it’s viewable only to DWC members ?

There's one on watchrecon for $10,600 that hasn't sold yet.

Not surprised, just doesn't seem that special. I think the new Air Command seems to be a much more appealing watch without any of the Hodinkee nonsense...

I like how the sub-dial hands zero out facing down. Can’t say I’ve ever seen/ noticed that on a watch before.

Well, I was completely wrong on this one. My brother bought it secondhand and in the flesh it’s great. The dial pops and looks bigger than it wears and it’s incredibly comfortable. It’s definitely not for everyone but it’s far better in person than I originally thought - didn’t want to take it off.

The press pics from Hodinkee also didn’t do the watch justice. The bezel looked grayish and the dial was muted. In person, it’s a totally different animal.

I’ll be the first to admit that it’s not a large watch and works best on small/medium sized wrists. However, the execution is excellent.

If it were just a big larger I’d need to have it.

Well, I had the same thought initially. One of the reasons I am selling my Deepsea is that I did order up a slightly larger LE Blancpain. The fish is incoming later this fall.

I'm super hot on the Blancpain trail right now. As much as I liked the aesthetic on this one, the size, and the association make it not for me.

As much as you think your picture sucks, it represents the colors way better than the press release. I could have sworn it was a ghosted gray bezel like the oris collab. I thought hodink was trying to go for a theme or something.

I like most everything about it, except the price...
