Istanbul for a while. Love this city. Been passing time on one of the smaller, less-touristy island (Burguzada), and with family (wive’s) just outside the city.

Are you going to head south at all? I was in Fethiye two summers ago and it was amazing.

Actually was in Fethiye about a month ago. Really enjoyed it, particularly the smaller town of Gocek nearby. Spent 3 weeks up and down the Aegean coast. I’m out in Turkey for a few months while my wife is on sabbatical—and I travel back and forth to Saudi.

Funny you should mention Göcek. We did a day cruise aboard "Lila" (owned/operated by Hürriyet Kaptan and his family). Perfect way to spend a summer day.

Yeah, I think it was the crop circles that drew me to this one when I picked it up 7 years ago. It’s from 2008 but still on it’s original battery. You should get a fifth!
