New Bulova Oceanographer Diver Green

Post by AtomicTom » Wed Aug 14, 2019 9:57 am

Remember seeing the Bulova Oceanographer Diver Green when Baselworld
was going on everyone? Now there looks to be a little more information,
along with a video of the watch.

Which will have a 44mm stainless steel case, 200m WR, "top hat" AR coated
sapphire crystal, green, and black unidirectional divers bezel, green dial with
luminous hands, and markers, and stainless steel bracelet. Inside looks to be
the 21 jewel Miyota 821D automatic also guys.

Here is a look...

I like this. What happened to the other models like this? I haven’t seen one in a long time.

Too big for me, but it has a pretty cool retro look.

Trying to decide between one of these and the Longines Skin Diver.

Heath, I think the other models are still in the works. It's just that this
green variation is the first out of the gates. :)

Matt, thanks sir, so glad you like it !

Jeff, probably is too big for me also, but you are right, it's such a neat look. 8-)

Wow Roger, that really is a tough decision. :o The skin diver is probably much
thinner, and sleeker than this diver. ..The Oceanographer has a muscle car vibe.

Thanks Tom, I do like these and just being called the Devil's Diver should be enough to seek one out. Not sure how they would wear at 45mm but they look cool and got lots of dial detail without being OTT.
I can even dig the green dial although black/red variant is my favourite. The only sticking point I have is bracelet endlinks, they don't look like a good fit and again, I think lug width/ case size ratio is off

I’m thinking this should wear much like a NAFT but the case has a bit more of a Doxa vibe. I could see picking this one up.

You are very welcome Jeremy ! :) These really do look so so cool, and the green
doesn't look too crazy either. ..Imagine this side by side with the black, and red
version?! Would be so much fun, and then you could get a better look, and feel
for bracelet, and lug width.

Heath, wow, and holy cow, these really do have a Doxa feel to them ! 8-)

Didn't ever even notice that before for some reason. ..Thank you !
