Picked up an anthracite dial Chronoscope. Quickly ditched the stock strap for a brown Cordovan.

That one is hard to beat. I thought for a while that it would be better at 40 or 41 but after wearing it I realized it’s right where it should be! (Apologies to Rolex for the scare, I’m sure they were panicked)hoppyjr wrote:

Another mm or two would be ok with me, but agree that it’s fine as is. Peter calls it “classic sized” on me.PGERRITY wrote:That one is hard to beat. My first Rolex was the 36mm version and I enjoyed it for years. When I look at old photos (of me while wearing it) it really looks small, but the 39 sometimes feels small today. I think this latest version is truly the best, as it provides the lumed numbers, lovely matte dial, and the improved movement.rockmastermike wrote:I had the 39 and really enjoyed it but now am thinking about trying a 36 version?!?PGERRITY wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2019 6:54 amThat one is hard to beat.
