Season 3 was fantastic! Love this show. I’m gonna hate to see it end.

Yes. Some people didn’t like it, which is amazing.

Can’t wait to get into season 3. Gonna be a bit for me, however.

Can’t do it.

I pushed myself through season two, then started 3. Not my thing at all.. I think it’s silly...

Also, lots of you recommended Yosemite - I watched two episodes and thought it comically bad. Worst script, acting, storyline, etc.. just terrible

What do I know, though? Lol

I didn't care for season 2. Haven't finished season 3 yet, but I like it a lot more so far.

I think I was in the minority with that show. I thought season 1 was overhyped. I really liked season 2. I struggled to get through some of season 3. Winona Ryder might be part of my problem.

I'm kind of on the fence on Season 3. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it, either. I really love the 80's nostalgia and am probably driving my kids crazy with, "did you see that? That was just like what happened in [1980's movie they've never seen]!"

I just thought the character development this season was pretty thin, but maybe that isn't the point of the series. And the plot is becoming a bit of a rehash.

That said, I think that some of the reviewers who panned it (and there were a few) don't have the frame of reference to understand it. They're either too young to get the references or somehow made it through the 1980's without seeing any movies or television shows.

The singing scene prompted my kid to want to watch that movie.

Didn’t love or hate Season 3. Same story - different protagonist and older kids. Nothing new to see.

Anyone who thinks stranger things isn’t a top shelf tv show should make some suggestions. I’d love to watch something better and it seems like I’ve seen everything worth watching.

That’s one I haven’t watched. Someone mentioned “Patriot” or something like that on amazon. Has anyone seen that?

Watched them over the winter- now on episode 2 of season 3. I take shows slow. I don’t binge at all, I only watch maybe 3-4 tv shows a week. So I’ll drag it out.
But I love this show, it makes me happy.

In addition to Chernobyl, Season 3 of True Detective was really good. I watch a lot of tv and those are the two standouts that come to mind from the past year or so.

Also worth watching (IMHO) are Succession (season 2 about to start in August), Mindhunter (season 2 starting sometime this year), Mr. Robot, Peaky Blinders, Narcos, Bosch, and Better Call Saul. I liked the first season of Killing Eve (the second season went completely off the rails).

And I still really like Stranger Things. I'm just not sure if they'll ever top their first season.

Those are some good suggestions. I’ve seen some of them, I couldn’t get into Peaky Blinders because it felt like Sons of Anarchy recast and set in old London, but some of them are new to me.

I thought it was pretty blatant. I even like the dude who plays the lead in that show, but couldn't do it.

I never watched SOA for whatever reason, so I don't have the frame of reference.

That makes sense. I watched the first five seasons or so and really liked it. Imagine Peaky Blinders but set in modern day Central California on motorcycles. It's a good premise in either show.
