One more day for this one, but looks like my trial and error regulation was very successful.Image

My trial and error regulation went excellent on mine. With regulation and positional variance if I wore it every day I could make it to DST before resetting. Now to see if it holds this regulation long term. It’s been a few months now.

This one today.

Sammy arrived the same day as the Scurfa M.S.19, kinda took a back seat to it.

I was all set to deal with the off-center crown location, but this looks good.

I don’t think there ever was an “offset crown issue” the Samurai crown just looks offset if you don’t look at it exactly straight on.
Most photos make the crown look like it favors one crown guard.

By the way, Chris, I found the parts for the mod:

Turtle bezel, lumed ceramic insert and flat sapphire crystal (no AR).

I saw this model last night. In my odd state of indecision on watches I’m now considering one of these instead of another Seiko diver. I love it.

it's definitely a very strong part of my rotation, too. i have it on the 5 link bracelet. the LE versions of the 556i are really nice, especially the ones with the raised markers.

At least it no longer says "proudly hosted on Photobucket", because no one is "proud" they use Photofucket.
