I think it looks...perfectly acceptable.

well that 40mm is non-starter for me 'cause it's the smallest 40mm watch I've had on my wrist but regardless I'd rather have a blue dial model for 1K from Jomashop

What’s the point of hand wound?

Ya know, if it was me, I think I'd grab a 39.5mm Aquis and call it a day.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

I wish there were more like that. Nostalgia? I don’t know.

It's cool, but I think ultimately forgettable.
Re: Oris + Hodinkee collaboration 6-26-19
until the next oris 65 LE gets announced.
(yes, i'm bitter that i'm still waiting on the green dial timeless LE no date...)

Re: Oris + Hodinkee collaboration 6-26-19
Echo a lot of the stuff here. This isn’t a $2300 watch and I’m wondering why they made it a manual wind. They’ve definitely ridden the diver’s 65 pony as much as they can.
That said I’d still like to pick up the OG with numerals for a much more reasonable price sometime in the near future.

The will sell out, if they haven’t already. This LE looks nice to me. I for one love my RedBar Edition. Yes, I paid retail for mine, but was lucky enough to get one with the help of Chris and Adam.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

I think they were trying to reduce the thickness further. Plus i future they had to do “something different” to justify yet another 65 LE and the price.MikeyLikesIt wrote:What’s the point of hand wound?
I love the looks but don’t like handwound mvt in divers personally and can’t justify 2300$ for an oris 65.

I prefer the regular 40. At any price really, but factor in the price and the LE is a hard pass.

It's good looking watch and I defiantly like that bezel. The price is stupid.

Anyone who pays $3,800 for that watch is out of their mind.

I know asking price does = selling price but it Makes 2,300 seem like a bargain
