Call me crazy, but...
Call me crazy, but...
... I've been thinking of downsizing by unloading the PO 8900 for a used MBII black/orange. I owned the watch once before and really regret flipping but think it would be a mistake.
Re: Call me crazy, but...
Yes, this move would be a mistake and you would regret.
Maybe pick up a rubber strap and give your PO a different look & feel?
I believe the blue model has two or three different blue straps available; croc-rubber, plain rubber, and maybe the textured rubber like I just got.
I hope it works out either way.

MB was a very well made piece, but I’m not sure it replaces a PO. Then again, it’s what YOU like that counts.

It kinda depends on why you want to do it? But even then, no matter which way you slice it (cost savings, versatility, future value, etc...), that's a hard move to justify.

Does it really matter? You’ll just sell whatever you buy, then sell that thing’s replacement, and so on.
If you want the bremont this week, you might as well get it.

Re: Call me crazy, but...
Both watches are plentiful so you’ll be able to buy the PO back if you miss it.
Subjectively, I prefer the PO to MB and perceive it to be a better watch.
Objectively, the PO holds better value and is easier to trade out of.
Either way, you’ll follow what your heart wants in the moment. It’s just an easy “issue” to correct if required.

If I ever get filthy rich I’m hiring Jacob to shadow me and fat shame me whenever I’m about to stuff my face.
